the best live preformance I've ever seen was machine head's. I saw devildriver live once and they are really awesome, though!

i know i am going against the grain on this one, but their newest one is my favorite, last kind words 2nd, first one 3rd and foomh in 4th. i think pray for villains is more refined and still keeping the aggression. especially the drumming and dez's vocals.

I dunno if it's the absolute fandom one develops in metal. But I find there are very few peple who say they only like one song by a metal band. It's actually awesome cause rather than having to find a million different good songs you can almost guarantee that buying any given album will give you a whole bunch of great songs.

That's the sign of a great band - I think I've seen at least one person say this about every DevilDriver song on youtube. If one-hit-wonders were a poison (and they are), DD is the antidote.
