I write this as a constant fan for the last 38 years. I wish DM would play the music keyboard driven and experimenting with sounds as they did in the beginning. Everything since Violator has been guitar driven. Also, Martin Gore should have been featured singer more often. His voice has been dreadfully underused.

My husband and I both love Depeche Mode. While his favorite singer is Dave, mine is Martin. And though we can argue about it endlessly, we both agree that their voices work so well together. This is my favorite DM song because it is set against the haunting strings and it showcases Martins voice so perfectly.
