Vince Clarke did infact collaborate with alot of the early Depeche stuff and was very much involved with the band for a while

He wrote 90% of the songs for their first album and than left the band....thanks god for that....then martin took over the songwriting and there you have it the real deep dark dm that we know and all adore

SYNTH GODS, this takes me straight back to my early teens, you forget how amazing 80s synth music was, depeche mode were arguably one of the best if not the best, AWESOME

Yeah, this was a real SYNTH BAND. They actually needed to figure out how to make everything work and sync, Depeche started pre-digital and pre sampling. It took an effort to make all this work.

I still have this and their second album on vinyl from the 80’s that I bought as s young teen. The first two albums are my favourite of theirs but especially this one, which I specifically bought for “Just Can’t Get Enough” and I still adore the music 💕🎶
