Denver, John - Some Days Are Diamonds Lyrics

When you ask how I've been here without you, I like to say I've been fine, and I do.
But we both know the truth is hard to come by. And if I told the truth, that's not quite true.
Some days are diamonds, some days are stone. Some times the hard times won't leave me alone.
Some times the cold winds blow a chill in my bones.
Some days are diamonds, some days are stone.

Now the face that I see in my mirror, more and more is a stranger to me.
More and more I can see there's a danger in becoming what I never thought I'd be.
Some days are diamonds, some days are stone. Some times the hard times won't leave me alone.
Some times the cold winds blow a chill in my bones.
Some days are diamonds, some days are stone.

Some days are diamonds, some days are stone. Some times the hard times won't leave me alone.
Some times the cold winds blow a chill in my bones.
Some days are diamonds, some days are stone.

Always have been one of my favorite singers. Cried like a baby when I heard he passed. The world of music isn't the same. But at least we have his music and can hear it when we want or need to. Fly high an sing to all who listen.

I love his song ...this old guitar titled:"This Old Guitar - John Denver"and ....his video "grandma's feather bed on the muppet show"was cute.

Is he still with us? I hope so. Only God knows? Such a beautiful human being with a beautiful voice. Perhaps the answer to his death lies in the song Looking for Space. John Denver you are (were) an incredible talent. If you're still with us I hope you're living a happy, peaceful life, if not R.I.P. 🙏😇

John Denver knew how to experience all that life had to offer. I love each and every song he sang, wrote, or produced. He touched so many hearts. He could sing the truth that so many people could relate to.
He is a legend, his passing was such a tragedy. I miss him, his realness. Just a nature loving, people pleasing,
gentle man. Fame never went to his head. He held tight to the beauty of life. God rest his soul.
