I loved Brett Dennen when he first started out and I love the Congolese rumba vibe. I get the Paul Simon comparisons, but it is a different part of Africa. He is a great guitarist too.

@raebre I'm with you on this one raebre. Heard this song in a mall recently and instantly recognized it as the Cecilia riff from Paul Simon's 1991 tour. Apparently Dennen was greatly influenced by Simon, but he's evidently less willing to declare it on his record... it's a shame, 'cause Cecilia is a much better song, and the kids are growing up listening to this watered down imitation.

OMG--- In the Video "Ziplining Guy Falls to his Death", the guy ziplining looks EXACTLY like Brett! I don't think it's really him, but who knows?!?! If anyone knows, post me!

I hear this every day at Outback Steakhouse over the intercom. I don't know what I feel about this song. It's like the walls in the Shawshank Redemption. First you don't like them, then you get used to them, then you need them. I would be all wonked out if this song didn't play.
