first time listening to this band, clearly features the vocalist as the primary "inspiration" for the arrangements,
but it's great stuff!!! I just wish they would get more creative with the guitar parts

I Love You Delain

Everyone is all talking about how this is playback, but I'd like to point three things out: 
1. This is a DVD, so it's heavily edited. Meaning that they have inserted the audio and video separately, which accounts for the discrepancies. 
2. It's likely that the vocals here are not from this actual live show, and were recorded separately. But again, that's because this is a professionally produced video, and they would want the best audio possible, which is not going to happen in a loud auditorium where the singer is jumping, running, and dancing. 
3. As many people have pointed out, even though this video is edited, you can find a hundred more on YouTube where they are definitely playing/singing live, and they are still awesome! So treat this video like what it is - a studio production - and don't worry that it's been tweaked and edited.

+Kanga Banga They seriously messed up then at 2:45. You can still hear her sing while she already lowered her mic.

@Creative Yes, it's a post-production error. My whole point is that this isn't supposed to be a live video - it's a professionally done video that compiles a live video recording with a live (edited) audio recording. 

+Creative + Kanga Banga     I saw Delain in April2015 and Charlotte's voice is better live than on studio albums.  Strong and superb the entire show with little fatigue.I must agree with KB.  The vocals laid over on this particular video may have some production errors but it matters not as these vocals are recorded live and are as pure as spring water at the base of the Alps.

You can see the same thing in other pro-shot and edited videos. The AV does not always sync exactly right, not sure why, but it doesnt. These vocalist are professionals and they practice these handful of songs over and over again. There is no real reason to not have the live version be used. Can even hear her inhail. Just edit out some of the weird fan noise and use it. I was able to see delain live last year and even at a terrible venue she sounds pretty good live.

The problem is that it feels like they just overlapped the CD audio with the live video, which to me completely defeats the purpose of releasing the live performance. If I'm watching a live performance of a band, I want to hear how they sounded live (the example that comes to mind is Within Temptation's Black Symphony). Touching up and cleaning up is acceptable. Swapping out the audio track is not.

I too thought her vocals were just perfect, beautiful.  Love listening to this.

Her vocals are spectacularly perfect! I thought at first they had overlaid the soundtrack version onto the video. But they're not! That's crazy! Those last notes are just beautiful! They gave me some serious chills :)

It's a live concert for DVD. Of course it's edited a little. They ALWAYS are. But she is singing LIVE. I just saw them twice, and she sounded spectacular at both shows. Look up their 2014 shows. But all live DVD shows are "fixed-up" in some way. Within Temptation does it, Nightwish does it... they all do it. Doesn't mean Sharon or Floor (or Tarja) weren't singing great live.

I saw her live too, and she's live just as good as on the cd almost better but that's cause the atmosphere too ^^ I saw them on the Hydra tour and gonna see them again 15 feb with sabaton and battle beast :3

+ARIELVB This is not a play back, It's a live concert for DVD, But the live DVD show are "fixed-up" in some way, Of course it's edited. They in "live" are awesome, but sounds better than our expectations.

Doubt. She is a professional and has practiced a handful of songs many times before this event. Why bother faking it? Besides it sounds different enough from the studio version that it had to be recorded at some other point, so why not just record it at this event.
