I'm trying to figure out the meaning of this song. But I like to imagine it's about the same as Spit Out The Bone by Metallica

Delain opened for a Kamelot concert in NYC last night. They played this song as part of their final set, and the whole place went batshit crazy. They kicked the shit out of us last night, and it was fuckin amazing!

If I remember correctly they said that they were created by an artist friend of Charlotte but that was a few years ago so I may have miss remembered that.

Seeing them live is such a greater experience then their album, they are heavier live and sound incredible, its amazing!

@JJfan48 Just saw them in Charlotte on Charlotte's (vocals) birthday. One of the best concerts I've ever seen. She is an AMAZING vocalist and was having an absolute blast on that stage. Her smile the whole time was infectious. I've never known a band like this to do better live, but Delain does, hands down.

My girlfriend and I saw the band live (with Sabaton and Nightwish), for the first time last April 13 2015, at Capitole  Quebec city. We didn't know Delain before. At 19:15, the show began with Delain and they opened with this song......Words cannot really express what we felt. It was really, really, great! It's a beautiful discovery. Thank you Rocker93 to share it. Good sound!

Saw them live in Philly. They opened for Sabaton and Nightwish. I had never heard of them, and while it's not really my style, they still put on a really good show. I preferred her live singing to the album versions I've listened to since.

I know this opinion might be unpopular. But bear with me.
I was thinking about underrated bands like Delain. I'd just come from a Nightwish video and I can't help but like their second ex vocalist Anette Olzon.  I won't go into the whole Tarja vs Anette thing (that's a really stale topic) I really like Anette but not for Nightwish. She would be better suited for a band just like Delain and I can't help but think her voice would suit this song.

I think Charlotte and Anette share some similarities in their voices. People also have an annoying tendency of comparing them to artists with very different styles. I really fell in love with Anette's voice after hearing her live during the Dark Passion Play tour, where I realized part of the problem was the layering effect on the album did her voice a great disservice. Hearing her on her solo album "Shine" gives you a better idea of how beautiful her voice really is.

Been looking for the songs they played, and I think this is the one they opened with.

this is WAY more poppy than epica, sirenia and even within temptation, but anyway is a good band.

More of the good stuff. Amazing to see how the music has developed over the decades. The vocals are beyond wicked and to see where the music has gone from Iron butterfly's In-a-gada-davida to this makes me glad I have been around this long.

as long as everybody is saying what (s)he likes xD I am obsessed with Evanescence, I kinda love The Pretty Reckless, starting to fall in love with Delain, like Nightwish, Flyleaf and of course other stuff but this is the main I think.. oh and not to hate on Within Temptation or Sharon but idk for some reason they don't atrract me
