I don't know why people say this is Deftones worst album when Gore exists. Self titled isn't their strongest by any mean but it's still an overall solid album. Really Doesn't deserve the hate it gets. I wish more Deftones fans would like this album and I wish even more people would actually get into Deftones to begin with.

Deftones are my favorite ! I was in high school and was expecting this album so much. When I bought it and listened to it I was disappointed because my expectations were too high after White Pony. Now I come back to listen to it and it's pretty decent. And this song oh my god.... I wish I had give it another chance back then. This is playing on repeat for a day now lol

But after listening to this album I realized how many good gems are in it like “lucky you” !! I barley listened through it after years of skipping the track like a dumbass and loved it.. I think the problem with deftones is that it’s such a great band they’re underrated and unappreciated by people because emphasize sounds and emotion into their songs that people aren’t usually patient to listen like arrogant asses!!

I loved reading through all the comments on this piece of music. I love that it inspires deep and sentimental emotions from so many listeners. I love that those feelings have a sound that can be created, captured, and preserved for us to call upon whenever the time is right. Deftones have been my fave since I was 11 or 12. I turn 31 next month, and they have been some of my best friends since back then and they don’t even know it. How crazy is that shit? They have literally helped shape me into the man I’ve become. I’m a work in progress, but I’m pretty happy with who I am.

Long post, I know. I’m just feelin’ it and wanted to share it with you like minded friends. Kudos.

My nana was killed in a car accident a year ago and ever since I can't listen to this song without shedding a tear. This song never meant much to me before that, now it means everything to me. I love Deftones, and I don't know where I'd be without them in my life for the last 20 years. Honestly, their music has given me so much solace throughout my life. Their music is my fucking therapy.
