Deep Purple - Wicked Ways Lyrics
You're so hot, you're so cool
I can see that you're nobody's fool
Now tell me am I coming through
It's too late, I can't wait
Believe it's gonna be a big mistake
I don't want to run and I don't want to fight
I just want to be the one you love tonight
Unclose my eyes, let it be
Bring on the band of angels from the great divide
I'll never get to heaven so take me for a ride
Fruit on the tree is shaking, my mind is in a daze
I just want a taste of your love
And learn your wicked ways
You're so bad, it feels good
There's so much I never understood
Oh Mama take a look at me now
I'm hung up, strung out
All I want to do is scream and shout your name
Addicted to you somehow
Electric in your touch there's magic in your kiss
You know I never knew that love could feel like this
Unclose my eyes, set me free
Bring on the band of angels from the great divide
I'll never get to heaven so take me for a ride
Fruit on the tree is shaking, my mind is in a daze
I just want a taste of your love
And learn your wicked ways

Not such a bad effort in their incredible legacy IMO ... its listenable from time to time
обичам ви !Ч!!!!!!!!!!
This track sounds like the Stones meet some female rocker(s) … Awkward; not mine.
Probably the most solid hard rock song on the album, Fire in the basement and Fortune Teller have a country feel to them, so I wouldn't call them "hard rock".
I just love this song!
Long live Rithie Blacmoreeeeee !
Цанко Цветанов от Розовец каза че трябва да минават курс по китара с тази песен!
The great song of all the times
Joe Lynn Turner sounds really good with Purple. I think he stretches his vocal range allot more here than he did with Rainbow.
Great album
Pickle days
Joe Lynn Turner is the best!! Great song, great disc!!
Long Live Rock and Roll
So rainbow
That riff!
Joe lynn turner 👉 🎤weak 👎
Danzig stole the main riff for one of his lacklustre songs.
Not a big fan of this LP but Ritchie unleashed some explosive solos, especially on this track. In fact, some if Ritchie's best playing were during the 90's, whether it be Purple, Rainbow or BN.
This album is to DP what Born Again is to Black Sabbath; untypical but interesting and quite good.
But Born Again is amazing
@Alejandro Alfaro Brenes Best non Ozzy Sabbath album!
@Brian Easterwood no. best non Ozzy album is dehumanizer
nah, this was just a 81-83 Rainbow album + Lord/Paice
One of the GREATEST album closers ever!
A brilliant album and a great line up, much have this line up than the current boring as fuck one
no...sorry
Taking orders for cow-bells >> must apply before the paper moon????????????
Am I only person who thinks that main riff is so similar to No More Tears by Ozzy? I think its a little plagiarism :)
yes, you are the only one. Matter of fact, No more tears was September 1991. This was released October 1990.
Different key and the motif is completely different.
I went to see a DP Tribute band called 'Purple Passion' back in 2008, they were excellent, just like the actual band. What surprised me was, when I spoke to the lead Guitarist about one of my all time fav DP Tracks 'Bad Attitude' He was unaware of it.
Gary Woollard just have to say why the fuck wouldn't the guitarist not know Bad Attitude?? good to know they were excellent but not knowing that song is unbelievable mate! unbelievable!
Bad Attitude is an enjoyable song to play
DP is my way to listening rock music
i like...
i too...
Cool song! Underrate LP
Why! Just why did they make only one track in their usual speed and energy?! This is the worst Deep Purple album I've listened to yet (though I heard there is some horror remaining), the production is awful and the energy is lacking. JLT is a good singer, but he doesn't fit to DP, and they are responsible for publishing... this.
Sounds interesting, are you talking about a youtube channel?
@Pariah666Banshee42 no a Google plus community
Well thanks for the offer, but I don't use Google+ or facebook, don't like it
@Pariah666Banshee42 alright no problem
Brennan Frawley Spotlight Kid, Can't Happen Here, Surrender, hell yeah man
TUNEEEEEEEE
Last half is just droool
,,,, don't think so ,,,,,,
Keyboards and guitars are awesome on this track. One of the best combination between Lord and Blackmore I've ever heard !
@Dave F. Classic combination
Normal for Lord and Blackmore))
Great song from a so underrated LP..
an outstanding track in this, otherwise, lacklustre album
Just a little edging toward "been-done-before" like a lot of Rainbow's 80's repertoir. Ritchie's get-er-dun attitude with the guitar makes it up for me. Like when a good band does a cover song so that it's better than the original.
one of the best all times
Somewhat of an overlooked song/album. But a jam and 3 quarters nun the less
I love the solo on this...Robert Johnson sold his soul to the devil, but Ritchie Blackmore kicked the devils butt with every solo...but again the one on this song is my favorite.
