DeBarge - You Wear It Well Lyrics

On the streets
And everywhere
You're turnin' heads
You've got the laissez faire

You just smile, yeah
And walk on through, oh, oh
You've got that personality, babe
And it sure looks good on you, yeah

Not the ordinary
Anything you wear looks good on you especially
Nothin'? I can tell you
You haven't already heard a half a million times
But still I'd like to say

You wear it well
You wear it well, you wear it well
(Ho)
You wear it well
You wear it well, you wear it well

There they go
They look so lovely too
But even so
They can't compete with you, no

You've got class
You're more than just a pretty face, no, no, babe
You've got that personality, babe
You've got exactly what it takes
(Yeah, yeah, yeah)

Not the ordinary
Anything wear looks good on you especially
Nothin'? I can tell you
You haven't already heard a half a million times
But still I'd like to say

You wear it well
(Ooh, sho' 'nuff)
You wear it well, you wear it well
(Woo)

You wear it well
(Oh, yeah, baby)
You wear it well, you wear it well
(You take my breath away)

Wear...

You wear it well, just wanna tell you
You wear it well, the way it looks on you
You wear it well, just wanna tell you
You wear it well

You wear it well
You wear it well, you wear it well
(Go on with your bad self)

You wear it well
(Ho)
You wear it well, you wear it well
(You take my breath away)

You wear it

  97. E.... M....

Respect to older brother Bobby Debarge from the RnB group Switch who laid the foundation for younger brothers Mark, Randy, Eldra, James and my main Chico and beautiful sister Bunny Debarge! Bobby had perhaps the most beautiful falsetto in music history. Sadly he died at a very young age but do yourself a favor and listen to some Switch with Bobby Debarge and you can best bet El looked up to and mimicked his older bro because they sound so much alike! The 80's ruled!! Our music, movies and fashion can never be outdone!! Glad I was apart of it!! Get your groove on people!!! This one is definitely a booty shaker!!

    E.... M....

i agreed with every thing you said up until you said el sounds just like bobby! el is good, but bobby was special. one of the greatest voices ever. lol

    E.... M....

stab calloway I agree with everything you said 101 percent..the 80s will never be matched in hip hop /love music/hard rock /soft rock /r/b you name ..theres no feeling today /no imagination .music today has no soul,,,,i miss the 80s also ..I was in my 20s then..!!

    E.... M....

Bobby and Eldra sounded alike and looked alike too!

    E.... M....

@MichaelAngelo Taylor Tommy was with Bobby in SWITCH but I believe Bobby's influence at that time was the pavement ...According to Unsung, Tommy followed Bobby! Technicalities aside, they are all great. Very thankful to have had their music grace my life. I just really wish someone would have pushed them to get help for their psychological trauma! They are such AMAZING talent, they could still be making music...they DEFINITELY would have evolved with the times!!!

    E.... M....

@Kisha Wilson well said, and I totally agree.

  98. A.... M....

Broke my neck to see him on Facts of Life!😂Good song too!
