Best death metal album besides Symbolic

The riffs during the first 50 seconds were badass. Not a big fan of this album, or any of their records post Spiritual Healing, but this song speeds up my blood circulation process on every occasion --- breathtaking piece of art!

literally every album from death has a different drummer. Only two albums had a consecutive drummer which was Gene Hoglan for ITP and Symbolic. Richard Christie did The sound of perseverance and control denieds only album the fragile art of existence.

Chris Reifert was the drummer on "Scream Bloody Gore".

They are a mix of progressive death metal and thrash metal imo

They began as the pioneer of death metal and after releasing three rock solid albums they were never the same. I don't really find any of their LPs post-Spiritual Healing to be particularly memorable. They all sound boring and lifeless except for the first 50 seconds of this song.
