Death - Out Of Touch Lyrics
Trapped in a lost world of brutality
So weak are the ones that must rely on shock
to push this so called force that inspires their call
to be extreme so it seems is a mental crutch
To cover up for those that are completely out of touch
In time we'll see who lasts
In time you will disappear
Who are you to question my sincerity
For now you are high on yourself
Drowning in your dreams of misguided hope
To be extreme so it seems is a mental crutch
To cover up for those that are completely out of touch

For me this is the best metal album I ever heard in my life. Absolute nr 1 <3
Sólo Death puede hacer buena música con un beat de Reggaeton
the intro riff makes me imagine all living things on earth being burned by the expanding sun
death reggaeton
2:49 this riff hurts my fingers just by listening to it
Hi Josuke
Too fucking sick !!!
A little ironic that the bands name is Death but they will live on forever. I'll make sure of that.
I'll be blasting this with my grandchildren, making sure they keep the memory alive. \m/
death metal chuck father of death metal god in all time "N" all 1000 years metal

Greatest Metal song ever!
Gene Hoglan is a F*CKING Monster on drums!
brilliant composition.
It sounds like the most crushing, sudden disappointment, while dying of hunger and thirst in a desert, followed by a nightmarish vertigo that descends into the Hellish natures of the darkness in our souls.
2:48 Reggaeton riff XD
I thought the same thing about those drums
Please don't, they just stold and made a rot perverssion of a little fragment of a great composition
Is hard to clean my mind for listening..but is a METAL RIFF THAT WAS RAPED FOR NOWADAYS CRAP SOUNDS
2:21 Loving this, and that bass in the background...
Pube salad.
Awesome... I like it and still listening till now... RIP Chuck

Τσιφτετέλια DEATH ΡΕ ΜΟΥΝΙΑ
AGUANTE DEATH
I like death better than cannibal corpse but they're both kickass bands. Deaths lyrics, music, and vocals are better in my opinion.
R.I.P CHUCK
Death progresses. Cannibal Corpse stay true to their roots. So... yeah, they both kick asses.
Cannibal Corpse is overrated in the metal community. Theyre meh
@Brother Ziti Al Forno - Peace Be Upon Him Keep that to yourself, or you'll be fucked with a knife. Remember that.
He really might. CC fans are pretty intense, and worst of all, a minority of them are dumb enough to take youtube comments seriously. (no offense intended)
@Soft Poor Corn Tomb and the bleeding are great albums but other than that yeah
I don't know why this album sounds so unique to me compared to other Death albums..
+Havran16 Andy La Roque is here :) Exellent combination
probably because of the bass
+Havran16 The guitars are much more mellow and less abrasive, the huge guitar sound from Spiritual and Human was gone and in turn it got a little more trebly. This album is also the most progressive and the changing time signatures make the rhythm section stand out even more. Steve Digiorgio was also given much more space to put in his stuff. All their albums sound more different than similar due to the band members changing constantly.
Yes probably all the counter melodies in the bass. Also I've noticed Death will use a similar chord structure throughout one album while also making each of the songs sound unique, and then the following album use different chord structure and progression making that album sound unique as well!
RIP Chuck
The rhythm guitars have chorus all over them
If Chuck was still alive today, I think if he heard modern day pop and rap he would say something like, "This is hyper sexualized and doesn't make me feel or think about anything."
Some hip hop music is way more introspective than death. There's a lot of ignorant people who say all music with guttural vocals is bad. Obviously it's not. It's the same with hip hop. The general idea is that it's shit but if you explore the genre beyond the mainstream garbage, it's actually great. Don't be ignorant.
@The boi Source? Rap only use speech as Instrument. Melody etc all from Computer. U cant get the complexity of music through rap. Sorry but facts
@Lu1zhp3akz I said introspective, not complex. I can give you recommendations if you want, I can also give recommendations that may be better for metalheads to get into. But not if you're going to keep being ignorant and acting like Lil Pump is a good representation of hip hop. I don't act like Metallica is all that exists in metal either.
Good hip hop exists and you're being ignorant if you act like it doesn't. Period.
@The boi i listen to good hip hop. Cypress Hill, Wu Tang, Jeru the damaja, masta ace, big L etc. I just mean for example in Deaths 'Cosmic Sea' u can feel the Soul through his riff and no word is spoken. If u want good music check out Sylosis - Edge of the Earth (Album) f.e. Sylosis - Awakening
@Spectral Official - Technical Death Metal Rap genre has got masterpieces too, but they are too rare.
Since it's so easy to create a beat with programs like fl studio (for last 6-7 years), every rapper can put 1 album in 1 year.
In the end, we are seeing nothing but a trash music mountain made by fl studio.
Also most of the rappers don't even tries. It's annoying. Only %1 of rappers are true artist. Others are just little brats.
Awesome!! R.I.P. Chuck
Reggaeton in 2:49
+Shekhar Sharma Oh sorry I was confused. I thought you mentioned a person "Jorgicio reggaeton", but you were just replying to the user Jorgicio. Yeah I have heard a lot of reggae ie: Bob Marley, Steel Pulse, Eek a Mouse, Yellowman and Mickey Dread. I don't hear it in this song. lol
JAJAJAJAJJA
Reggaeton is a shit
@Derpo 17 reggae and reggaeton are not the same thing
@Bleach Dark Yeah
This song is about Norwegian blackmetal bands (Chuck said in an interview) and probably also about Morbid Angel. Read the lyrics with this in mind and you'll see.
@TheReincarnatedDeath I just thought it was weird that you thought it was about morbid angel of all bands, I'm pretty sure Death toured with them multiple times, and certainly no beef between 'em.
It;s not hypocritical. He grew out of that behaviour and can point it out in others. I don't think he had much to be jealous of.
All you have to do is look at the logo on each Death album to tell that with each album Chuck was moving away from that mentality. Each new album featured an altered Death logo that was focused on being less over the top with imagery. Even the upside down cross "t" from the logo was eventually replaced by a "t" with the cross bar in the center.
Morbid Angel and Deicide also btw because at the time, these bands were in the media for animal cruelty. The Morrisound report where he wears the cat shirt connects with that.
This has nothig to do with Black Metal
Its about extreme polictics opinions
Like the majority of the songs of this album
Death and CC were friends. I remember seeing an interview with Chris Barnes and Chuck from like 1992 or so and they were on tour together I believe. Death metal is a varied genre. Just cuz one band is more into gore and the next existentialism doesn't mean they hate each other. It's just the nature of the music.
Also, Fischer took "Corpsegrinder" nickname from Death's song from their early demo :)
chris barns and chuck was friends, pat o'briens idol is chuck
Dunno why, both bands are very good.
What the FUCK are you talking about?
Me encanta!
What are you talking about? Death toured with Cannibal Corpse in the 90's.
Cannibal Corpse are brutal death metal, the lyrics can't speak about life, destiny or else like Death.
2:48 Reggaton beat
proggaton
Chuck did several interviews together with Chris Barnes on HBB. Chuck would NOT AT ALL be disgusted by what death metal has become. It's just natural progression like DEATH progressed.
What a dick
Cannibal Corpse is alright, dude...
Psychedelic Death Metal...
this is something we never gonna know, and you cant judge by others, including chuck
Chuck has talked to and played with Pat O' Brien. Of course he wasn't in Cannibal Corpse at the time, he was in Nevermore. I think Chuck would be disgusted with nowadays music anyway. Especially in pop culture
