i know almost every exact note in that solo.. is a hard work for the ear.. because schuldiner was very primitive in his way of playing guitar.. he use to repeat notes and licks, but when you hear him repeating notes.. you think that every note he play is different because the way he plays his notes was very stylish and very very musical


i mean he was not very technical.. but the way he used to play guitar was very special ,like shredding like a god.. but in a very primitive and simple way

I still can't get over how amazing Richard Christy is on drums..the man is a beast and has one of the most unique styles of playing I have ever heard..damn I wish I could snag this guy as my drummer.

The combination of their early straight-forward sound mixed with the accessibility of their later albums along with the added benefit of the levels of technicality brought on by the likes of DiGiorgio, Masvidal, and Reinert, later LaRocque and Hoglan made for an amazingly unique sound that no one could even dare to attempt to replicate.

Shame Sean had to go and split from Cynic the way he did. One hell of a drummer.

This will forever be my favorite metal song ever!! Introduced to me by an end of Headbanger's Ball episode round about 1992. The heaviest stuff I had been exposed to was the big four and their doppelgangers. I was hungry for more... Then I saw this night of the living dead'esque video, after a Metallica and Guns 'n Roses song. A whole new world of metal unfolded before my eyes. I hold this song as a standard against new ( 2019) metal music to live up to. Good luck. Without Chuck's inspiration, you ain't got a chance!!
