Death - Killing Spree Lyrics
To the world around he was the perfect person
Planning for an alibi he then starts rehearsing
A human bomb just waiting to explode
This secret rage can't be controlled
One left to recover
Self-inflicted wounds
Life he has consumed
Planning a killing spree
Victim of a conspiracy?
Getting bored with his current life
Rearranging with a knife
His life was spared for this he does not know
Screams filled the air there was no way to help
The ones he mourns he killed himself
Slaughtered the dreams of others
One left to recover
Self-inflicted wounds
Life he has consumed
Planning a killing spree
Victim of a conspiracy?

Death Killing Spree Comments
SPIRITUAL HEALING's guitar solos are the best I've heard on any Death Metal record.
0:23 - 0:40 Suena como Lack of comprehension.
Solo this song is a Killing Spree
One of the greatest solos ever... Fits the song so perfectly
Se que sube y bajas en notas del intro pero quedo genial
I'm cumming after listening this solo omg Kreygasm
Chuck couldn't escape from his destiny
1:50 people! Best solo of all time! A beautiful piece of music. James Murphy! Guy should be a billionaire. The worst thing about that melodic solo section is it ends and Chuck's comes in. No offense to Chuck but he shoulda sat out on this one, even though I do like his solo here. He must have learned from Murphy because he improved big time with Human onward. Symbolic with Hoglan is his masterpiece.
I know what you're saying but at the same time I disagree. Chuck's solo in this song adds to the epicness brings another dynamic into the mix. Two completely different guitarists.
Planning a killing spree victim !!
My favorite song of Death \m/
2:15 I feel like I have achieved everything.... Just so much feeling and power into one solo
idk how a metalhead wouldn't like this band
Ufff.
The Best Death solo.
why people come and dislike the song????
First Death Metal song. Maybe I'll eventually get into it, but not now.
Aztec Metalhead you may not like it now but you’ll come around. try the song Arise by Sepultura
Aztec Metalhead are you into it now? Best band ever
Welcome to the dark side.
Wish I could loop the intro
akimboo Have you done it?
That intro needs to be memed like Yes - Roundabout

To the world around he was a perfect person
Planning for an alibi, he then starts rehearsing
A human bomb just waiting to explode
This secret rage can't be controlled
Slaughtered the dreams of others on
Left to recover self inflicted wounds
Life he has consumed
Planning a killing spree
Victim of a conspiracy
Getting bored with his current life
Rearranging with a knife
Greed before despair suspicion starts to grow
His life was spared, for this he does not know
Screams filled the air, there was know way to help
The ones he mourned he killed him self
Slaughtered the dreams of others on
Left to recover self inflicted wound
Life he has consumed
Planning a killing spree

Robit 1999 thanks for posting this for the longest time I always thought it was "there's no way to help the ones he mourns. He killed himself"
It's "Slaughtered, the dreams of others one" not on. He sings one, because it's joined to the next line, "One Left to Recover" "On left to recover" makes no sense. If it's actually written as "on" in the liner notes, it's a typo.
Its about papa adolf
That's you Fiyst.
This song came out way before there were any notable examples of such incidents.I think that Chuck wrote songs with the intent of taking his own psychology into the very dark realms of human thought.
Joseph Edwards the Las Vegas shooting gunman probably had this playing when he shot up that country music concert
there have been serial killers way before death existed

This music cannot be confined to a genre, or defined by an emotion. This was Chuck. This was Death.
Dom Like who? Fucking Metallica? Death was easily the best band ever
frank riley Chuck had easily the best riffs ever, like who else has riffs as good as his?
Actually it can be defined by an emotion: secret rage
@Marc Browna You don't listen to enough Murphy. His solo albums are great. If he can't sell harmonizer effects not even Vai can.
frank riley As much as I don’t want to admit it, you’re right and I absolutely love Chuck and Death. I’m a musician as well and I wish he would have been more multidimensional with his solos. Individual Thought Patterns is the album where he displays this the most. Spiritual Healing and SOP I would say display Chuck’s best, more diverse solos. He actually does 2 sweeped arpeggios on Spiritual Healing and never did any other sweeps on any other albums that I’m aware of. Glad he brought in a lot of talented guitarists to add variety.
