Death - Infernal Death Lyrics
Piling the bodies
Burn them in the night
Skin grows black and withered
Decayed smell will rise
Into ashes
Burn those bodies
To Infernal death
Human coals are burning
Repulsive yet so true
Open graves are scattered
When the work is through
Existence fading
Burn those bodies
To Infernal death

Saw them some time... bad performance. Don't wanna talk bad about a dead man. But everybody should see how much of the power came from Chris... a man like an army... just listen to Autopsy and see them perform. Just sayin.

Fathers of Death Metal!
The 3/4 part at the start of the song is amazing why is it only there for 30 seconds at the start of the song? :'( :'( :'(
This is Thrash metal
this album reminds me of a heavier venom if they went straight late thrash.
Without John Hand this album would have been nothing.
Uncredited on leprosy also. He ghost wrote early riffs for control denied too
for me as a punk rocker Death was best metal band. Love it
Death does get more technical in their later albums, but loses the raw aggression and energy this one has. Not taking anything away from those works, they're all great, but this makes me wanna go hand to hand with a grizzly bear. :) Not that my skinny ass would stand a chance.
An absolute masterpiece.
Death metal rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Death rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Chuck schuldiner rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We miss you chuck schuldiner
Killer album a masterpiece
Killer song
World's first exposure to Death Metal is this song. First song, of the first death metal album.
This music is dope (otherwords) baddas aass fack
I feel the 4/4 to 3/4 as a 4/4 to 2/4 and tempo change.
Good for you!
When I see a fucking cockroach flying through my window.
It's that skull servent?
Foggy production makes everything sound so awesome.
LCHC FUCK
This makes me hate feel as deicide : debut album!

At the moment the only leading Death metal band for me is Immolation. They never dissapoint
I've never heard of this band before tonight. Now, I am hooked.
Sol_man no.1 i grew up on this stuff and im not even over 20. this shit runs in my veins, the powerful blast beats, the heavy riffs, the godly vocals... its erotic
i would go crazy at their concerts, born too late man
Choo Choo it's Chuck Schuldiner!
Gosh this ablum never gets old.
Nicholas Narine it is old already, its classic only
Beautiful
das waren noch gute bands
And so it begins... I couldn't imagine what the first person who bought this album thought after listening to the first song of what is considered the first ," true", death metal album in existence. Then again if you wanted to see how this developed, go see slayer.
As a matter of fact, the drumming in this song is incredibly similar to Slayer's.
I can tell you the first time i heard Death i was like, is that a human singing? 😆
Not the first, Seven churches by possessed would be the first.
fucking brutal \m/
Intense riff holy shit
0:20 to 0:37 THOSE 3 SCREAMS ARE GODLY
0:27 scream is better ahah
cannibal corpse death cattle decapitation behemoth suffocation decapitated devourment
possessed sound like death
Obituarys whole Cause of Death album may as well be Death lol
nikon d3200 I'd rather say Death sounds like Possessed :V
Possessed sound more thrash then Death. Possessed is closer to old Sepultura.
Holy Shit!
Life - Heavenly Life
Boy band cover of the same song
Life - Quiet unharmful peace
Life is good, but death is better.
Horde - Release And Clothe The Virgin Sacrifice
I can't decide which is the more hilarious title between "life metal" and "unblack".
that Bass!!
nikolas black Chuck did the bass himself in this album ;)
@Al R Yes, because the bassist was not able enough. Chuck didn't reveal this fact because of friendship, he revealed it some years later
increible \m/
Best song ever !
Adragnava not guite, this album best yes, senseless peoples
(R.I.P.) "Chuck Schuldiner/Death"
+Rick Rozz I know you don't remember me. Chuck introduced us when I was 14, maybe, and I'm now 42 (turn 43 next week). If I remember correctly, you were helping Chuck write and produce at the time. At that time, you and Chuck both were super-human to me. You were never forgotten, not by me, anyway. You helped shape what was the best thing in the world to me at that time. I followed Death around so much as a kid that I managed to see Death play 15 times, plus Chuck knew me well enough to where he let me sit and watch the band make the video for "Lack of Comprehension" when they went to the Beacham Theater to film it. I'm from the Chickasaw Trail/Curry Ford Road area and you lived in Longwood (I think, at the time). If you or your family ever need a plumber...I still work the same areas but live in Deltona. I'm not tryin to jockey for work... I'd just like to help you out if you ever need a plumber. A plumber is like a hit man... when you HAVE to hire one, you want a good one. I've been doing plumbing for 22 years now. I'm still into metal, but listen to more Kreator than anything nowadays. Back in the "good ole days", I supported our local bands so much, that I had every album, cassette, t-shirt, etc. from all of our central Florida thrash/death metal bands. Someone did post a show that your band did recently but it has no dates listed. Glad to see you are still doing what you obviously love. I hope it is still fun and isn't WORK for you now. Speaking of work. Get with me if you, family friends need a plumber. I do give a "death metal pioneer" discount. Try to give me a shout and tell me when you are playing locally. Maybe I'll rustle up some old friends to come and see you. Thanks for the memories!
Rick Rozz?? Could it really be you? Nahhhh.
This has been a favorite of mine ever since I bought the album in '87 or '88 . I still have it - a glorious black vinyl disc :)
After finding this on youtube, I was inspired and made a 4-part fughetta for organ based on riffs of this song.
Enjoy!

+Roland Bouman Album was released on May 25, 1987. I had it the day it was released. You must be old like me, now. Proud of you for being true to what you like. I remember Chuck. You make him proud, too. Ever since he passed, I have always felt like he looks out for metal heads like myself. I met Chuck just weeks after this was released in a used records store. I didn't know who he was. After talkin for a while he told me about his band. He became a hero of mine, of sorts, after that...
+MilleIsGod Wonderful memory! Thanks for sharing :) At the time I was in a band and we tried real hard to make our own flavor of Death Metal. Hope you like it: https://soundcloud.com/rolandbouman/evil-incantations
Roland Bouman Nice man, I wasn't even born back then haha I'm only 16.
Goldehh xD I know how you feel man, I'm 17.
Roland Bouman yes, black vinyl is best! I have also this black vinyl and mostly all death albums is vinyl in my appartment.
Hurls me straight back to being 15 in 2006... as my CD collection is currently not sat close by, I am having to resort to utilising the internet to have a death/grind sess. and I gotta say... FUCKIN' FANTASTIC WITH RAINBOWS SPOUTING!
The first true death metal song.
Slayer had alot of early death metal like sounds, but really who gives a fuck who was the first. It's the same thing with Sabbath vs. Zeppelin The Cream, The Kinks etc. on the argument of who first created metal. With both genres, many early pioneering bands had elements of what later became a solidified genre. Just enjoy the music.
Not really. The fact that it's the first track on the album doesn't mean it's the first song they made. Just saying.
@rip van Winkle 7 Churches is officially categorized as thrash. It's a great album nonetheless. I'm just saying.
Hellhammer 1982
Mantas - Death by Metal (1984), nailed it
This is what death metal is all about
Schuldiner11 ridiclious and who cares?
David Vincent what the hell are you going on about?
Death is the only death metal worth anything. RIP
Yes indeed, and not that Crystal Mountain crap.
The riff between 2:13 and 2:32 always gives me a boner
+Javox93 almost Slayer-esque
+Javox93 Thrash stuff^^ Love it to !
Javox93 massive skeleton boner
Javox93 😂😂😂
Man, this song is pure dynamite.
Just here to listen to more metal!
Whats the song name in the video?
Darude Sandstorm
Death about everything! \,,/
Oh hell yeah!! Best old school death metal band from the 80's!! \m/
But not quite the best metal band from the 80s. Definitely round out the top 5
@Treeunit865 I think still it is the best band but hey that just my opinion
no trust me, +Treeunit865 knows ALL the death metal bands from the 80s and his opinion isn't an opinion, it's FACT
Treeunit865 would you recommend some bands pls :))
chuck is Goooooood
Are you calling him god, or good?
Chuck is probably one of the first homophobes who was disgusted with his own homophobic writing.
@Gordon Heaney I know... brings a tear to the eye don't it just :(
@Varun Kuchibhotla What on earth are you talking about?
No. Human he was.
My ex said she hated death and chuck
