I went through the same thing when this song first came out. My now ex-husband chose drugs, mainly marijuana, over me and his child. This song says it all.

Sad Times of Loss And Brakeups

Heard this song on the radio this morning (ten til ten pm at time of posting) for the first time in a loooooong, very long time. I jotted the lyrics down in a draft message to look up. There's something both pure and just so damn _addicting_ about this song, addicting in a good way, I guess? I can't explain feels well ahaha :D Just a great tune, hands down. <3

My husband was a Letter Carrier with the USPS and I would have to drive him to work at 4am (it was near X-mas) because our other car was in the shop for about a week. We had to load the 3 kids in the car, make sure they were warm and drive all the way across town. This song was played every morning while driving. He always had the country station on. I would cry so much over this song. It just breaks your heart. After I left to come home I would change the station to rock. Kids never woke up. Then we would do it again the next morning. My husband passed away 30 Nov 2015. I will always remember those mornings when I hear this. I'm on a crying binge today, just listening to sad songs that make me cry. Peace to you all
