Deaf Havana - Fifty Four Lyrics
Dear you know I fear I'm growing weak
I left you in the dark for a bottle and cheap company
You took me home, gave me a bed or half of yours at least
And my god that was good enough for me
And my god that's still good enough for me
I'll keep holding on because we are young and we are free
And my god that's still good enough for me
We'd sleep until the evening sun had burnt
And lay awake until the neighbors left next morning for work
The first time that we slept I felt my life rewind
And a nervous child replaced the ageing fool I left behind
And my god that's still good enough for me
I'll keep holding on because we are young and we are free
And my god that's still good enough for me
You put your faith in me and I let you down
You put your faith in me and I let you down
You put your faith in me and I let you down
But I feel so sure, I feel so
I'll keep holding on because we are young and we are free
And my god that's still good enough for me
I'll keep holding on because we are young and we are free
And my god that's still good enough for me (still good enough for me)
I'll keep holding on because we are young and we are free
And my god that's still good enough for me
I'll keep holding on because we are young and we are free
And my god that's still good enough for me

this song is bursting with awesomeness!
they played this as their last song last night, safe to say I did not expect it and WOW it sounds epic
Only 10,579 views? But they're all mine.. :)
I'm s'posed to be a massive metalhead listening to nothing but Trivium and MachineHead which is all well and good but honestly both of them have made new albums this year I love them both but to me they have NOTHING on these guys. The lyrics on this entire album speak to me more than the fastest double bass, the biggest mosh pit or even Robb Flynn's voice.. Deaf Havana, you've actually full on done it; you have made this my favourite album of the year.
Beautiful. And if I may get involved in your conversation :P I'm kinda with you, thehorizonaway, Deaf Havana with Ryan in the band was amazing, certainly got me hooked on them, but the new album proves that James' vocals and songwriting are strong enough to keep the band going as a band I know I would gladly pay to both see live and listen to on a CD. My opinion :)
@thehorizonaway I think I actually prefer it. I miss Ryan but I really love their new sound :)
the cliche slow song... I LOVE IT!
