This is a OK remix but to me its a bit slow

The CUCKing of the rifles.

Good instrumentation but the rhythmic phrasing on the drums and vocals clash on several parts.  Some drum fills in the chorus would have smoothed those out a bit.

This is a terrible remix of an average NIN song. I honestly don't know why everyone is saying its amazing. (like most of his remixes) All Deadmau5 did was take the lyrics and add them to a stripped back version of the music, and in doing so just removed any substance from the song. Nice one.

I love NIN. I really don't care for DeadMau5, but I respect his ability and creativity as a musician. This was absolutely wonderful.

He's seen as a full on EDM house type guy but on various occasions he has switched up the genres and for the most part he does top notch remixes.

If you are interested in survival the best results that I have had was by using the Survivor Crusher System
(i found it on google) definately the most incredible survival i've followed.

wiencheck Yeah I dunno, it's a little slow and plodding. It sounds wrong to my ears, the way Trent starts singing faster and faster yet the backing instrumental remains slow. This lacks the urgency and punch of the original.

Deadmau5 really hit it out of the park on this remix.

I consider Nine Inch Nails to be my favorite band, and I thought this remix was fantastic. TweakerRay also does some great NIN remixes.

Almost every last dub and remix I've ever heard of this song (and I've heard a lot) has problems compensating for the dropped and added beats; a pure 4/4 dub just never sounds right IMO. This does an uncommonly good job of it.

NIN is a rock band. Deadmau5 takes the lyrics and remixes "Survivalism" into a new song that is enjoyable to people who are fans of Electronic music. You people should be proud that your favorite music is appealing to other people who aren't even into your genre of music, and yet, you go to this song's video and start talking shit about how this remix sucks. 

If you don't like the remix, fine. Don't waste your time by commenting on the remix's video.

Thats just narrow minded .. . i understand you deception tho , ever since trent put that software allowing people to remix his tunes there has been alota diabolicaly wank remixs floating about .. but i hope when you were writing that you actually realise that alot off the remixs on the nin alblums were not actually done by reznor? .. but i think deadmau5 is worthy tho, i think he definatly understands those slow cool amibience type tunes aswel, something like the "ghosts" album, but some NIN fans wont respect em yet because he made his name in dance ..

@adam keane narrowminded it may be, but i've listened to countless remixes of nin songs, and yes, even the remix albums of nin itself are rather picky for me. i've heard nin cover songs that sound better than people who try and remix them.

strangely enough the songs on "fixed" that i like the most are actually the ones that arent done by reznor! .. which bands covers do you prefer?

Inverse Phase - Pretty Eight Machine (8-bit remake) Atariable Lie (Terrible Lie) is my favorite on the album. 

that recent parody "This Is a Trent Reznor Song" is a funny one.

Kawehi's cover of Closer - entirely done from scratch in her own way, she plays every instrument herself. 

Weird Al's "Germs" that parodies several NIN songs.
