who can make music this dark and glorious while avoiding death metal. no one but dax. dax paints such dark but simetenously colorful beautifu pictures with his songs. just like he did in acid bath. usually dark songs are not nearly as fantastic as this

I wonder if anyone else picked up on this but do you think this is about Acid Bath?
- "down the passage we never take" and "past that door we never open" seem like a reference to unfinished work/things - and "lost within the locust storm" again the lost theme, but with the 'locust' line could also be a reference to 'locusts are coming'. 'Venus blue' is also a track, but the word blue comes up several times in the acid bath stuff. It just seems very acid bathy lol

I have the whole ITIHTIL demo on my old zune, and honesty I prefer it to the official release for just about every song.  Its definitely a case of less is more.
