Shayley wasn't treated well by Austin, mainly. He was very unappreciated as time went on and credit wasn't given to him when he wrote all the songs on "The Flood" with Alan Ashby. Shayley is now in Dayshell with his best friends since high school where HE is the front man. They helped him back on his feet. A voice like Shayley's doesn't need to be hidden. He's one of the best vocalists out there and he could scream 1000x better than Austin.

I heard about Dayshell after freaking out about how Austin Carlile isn't the one doing the choruses in of mice and men, but shayley was, then I learned he left the band and is with dayshell now O.o he has an amazing voice, but I'll miss him in of mice and men u.u

Why are people even talking about avenged suckfold here??? They are a horrible band, the singer tries to sound like James Hetfield and I'm so disappointed that the greatest drummer on the planet, Mike Portnoy, was even a part of that shitty outfit.. Dayshell is so much better than them that there is no comparison!  They know how to write good music that you can actually listen to and the musicianship is top notch.. I don't even know how avenged managed to secure a record deal.. can't stand em!!

guys, be aware that the writing process for this album probably took a while so they more then likely had the song name before Hail to the king ever came out so calm down

@MotleyDeflep6 how do you know that? Even if that were the case, they wouldn't have revealed that... but after all, it doesn't make sense because there are already tons of songs out there whose names are the same, which are different songs, like this case.
