You know I hate that who group of bands associated with this style of music like asking Alexandria, issues, etc. but there's always one or two in the bunch that are underrated and way better musicians. this is that band. these guys could be the top dogs in this genre.

Overall I really liked the record musically it was really great and the melodies were well done. My only complain is how many effects the vocals have it might be to much and some of the actual lyrics get lost in them.

Bass -> one send low pass, one send hi pass -> no output for audio track, add distortion as you see fit on low pass, mix two sends together and print track to put in the mix

I'm trying to listen to each song separately like one at a time and not all at once because each song needs time to listen to for me. Album sounds great and I love Shayleys' voice. The guitarist is killing it in this album. I love the band and I hope they make great albums/songs as they go along. :)

This song is the best to me on their album, although it isn't the heaviest (which I am a big fan of). Its just beautiful hearing Shayley's vocals, I'm really proud of how far he's come. Saw this band on the (Started from the bottom now we here) tour, they really know how to pump up a crowd. I was even lucky enough to hold Shayleys hand when he was leaning into the crowd.
Cant wait to hear from Dayshell!

And i'm sure you had The Depths, The Flood, The Calm, and The Storm all on repeat for awhile....And those were ALL without Shayley. Both bands are great...and Of Mice & Men will stay great.

Don't get me wrong, I agree with everything you said, except that Shay didn't work well with OM&M. His time in the band, especially working on The Flood before it was released, he really did love being in the band and he sounded fucking amazing, yes he was clearly not always happy but that was more around when they began touring.
But yeah.

Music fans, of any genre really, are so anal about everything. Music is so debatable to so many people there's no way it's going to entice everyone or be hated. If you like it, like it. If you don't, then don't.

Shay left omam because he wanted to work on his alcohol problem. They made a video of it. He didn't want to hold them back. He started this sometime after that. But I happen to like this band. Not as much as omam but they're pretty good. Get to see them in November :)

I loved Shayley with Of Mice & Men, but Aaron is an AMAZING clean vocalist and I think he will go just as good with OM&M.
Shay had the talent to make something big, and he did just that.
I hope Dayshell gets far because Shay deserves that much. Him and OM&M didn't work well, and that's why he left. So it's honestly better on both parts for the people/band.

OM&M is OM&M. DayShell is DayShell. They're their own separate bands. Deal with it. Neither one is "better". This is the same thing that happened between +44 and AVA. Sure, Blink splitting up sucked; but the music on both sides of the split up was great nonetheless. With all that being said, I think that with the separation will come much good for fans: those who wanted more of Shayley will get just that. Those who preferred Austin will have the same. Problem solved. We cool now, everybody?
