i like this guys music but he is kinda demanding with his lyrics, almost seems like he is drunk when he writes these.

But thats it. When people are drunk honesty comes out. Its more than words. You have to look beyond the words to see the real meaning. Shayley is honestly such an incredible writer. He puts his all in to his music, and it's so beautiful. You don't see many artist like Shay now a days. Through his music you hear and feel his emotions which many artist now can not do. That's what music should be about. I'm just glad that he's still doing what he loves because he is need in this world and definitely in my life.

Dayshell and Of Mice & Men are both some of my favorite bands. I think Shayley is extremely talented and that's why I followed him to Dayshell, but I also think Aaron is awesome too. Of Mice & Men is still a great band!

@sphelpsx you should listen to there very new stuff with aaron doing both vocals, they sound like they were being held back by austin :D. and tbh ive been waiting for him to leave, the amount of shit austin caused for the band you can tell they werent happy with the music they were producing. but now there vibe and energy is back

I personally respect Shayley for his decision to start out his own band jus from one small jam session.. big things do happen unexpectedly.. he had his fun nd enjoyed his time with Of Mice & Men.. but he felt it in his heart that it was his time to go nd do what fate brought him to.. people may say Of Mice & Men needs Shayley bac for more music similar to previous albums.. but those albums is what makes them all so unique.. its what makes them a great memory.. now Shayley must continue what he feels is right.. why be selfish with our own desires.. its bout what he needs nd feels within him what is right.. <3

Ummm Dayshell is pretty much Covette #2. Covette being Shayley's (and the other band members) older band. He didn't start this band from one jam session, everyone in the band has known each other and has collaborated thoroughly in the past. The situation was more like Shayley going back to his roots.

are you serious? go look up live videos of shayley preforming. Id say if anything he's not very energetic at all but makes up for it by being so good. Of course he doesn't sound like this live because his voice is highly edited on this track, but listen to him sing without any post production done to his vocals. He's an amazing singer, and he sounds pretty decent live with Dayshell.

Shay's voice is so fucking good..it literally gives me chills. every word he sings just sounds so beautiful.

I agree, i fucking hate when people say music is trash or shitty just because its not the typical genre of music they listen to or prefer. People need to get their heads out of their asses, Dayshell is EXTREMELY fucking talented. And Shay has vocals like no other.

Shayley cant sing this well live...thats why if you compare the Demos to the reproduced songs from Dayshell, you'll notice they took out alot of the High notes so that these songs would be easier to perform live and would sound good. HUGE fan of Shayley, just dropping some knowledge.
