This album is amazing just picked it up today and every song is deep and rorys voice is amazing as well this band needs more recognition because they have a lot more talent then a lot of big bands out there

I discovered this band a few days ago. Holy fuck i was missing out and holy fuck they are underrated. This song and gates of ivory stay on repeat.

Unpopular opinion but I think while Rory's clean vocals are phenomenal his uncleans are mediocre at best. I feel like they should just ditch them completely and capitalize more on his singing voice.

Because you haven't heard the older albums. I believe the advances in studio technology increase the beauty of Rory's cleans and at the same time slightly stifle his amazing uncleans. I do understand what you say but as a metalcore lover I like both in a song. I try to move away from Time the Valuator. But even that wonderful band got a clean singer that does uncleans. Maybe Dream on Dreamer is a better example what I personally try to stay slightly right of. But that album they made was so good even without uncleans. It's kind of a matter of preference. Hope this helps.

Nah Gates Of Ivory has some good screams and it's Rory. I honestly love his screams, nothing special, but the way their music sounds are perfect for his voice.

I think that's what they were going for in this album. It's way softer than their previous efforts, but yeah I think his cleans are the main selling point, while at the same time his screams are also good to listen to.

@pickatchew I believe this approach will sell them more albums. As much as I'd like a harder album, these guys got families to feed. And i will support that.

It's definitely softer than the other albums. The breakdowns in this, Gates Of Ivory, Crash And Burn and Crooked Soul hit hard tho

Despite I’m happy someone made a soft album this year :)
