This song was extremely difficult for me to listen to. Beautiful song, but the meaning hits me hard as do the lyrics. It seems to be about an eating disorder but it may also touch base on many mental disorders..? Either way, it’s a damn good song.

It is about anorexia... and the depression behind it that causes it. If one thinks anorexia is separate from depression, they are wrong. It all stems from a twisted mind that enjoys pain, and that's what it's all about, isn't it? Pain and causing pain and feeling pain and showing pain. Anorexia is just a symptom.
