It’s so odd. I’ve trailed away from religion through the years, but I used to listen to this song when I was younger and I thought it was amazing. I was always into rock.

I wrote for this band BEFORE the twin towers fell. What was weird about the Song is that it's about radio towers falling when a tornado went through town. The tornado tore up everything for miles. Now this stuff was written way back when I was 16 or 17 years old. I am 44 years old now. The music wasn't released until the 90s. The police came asking me about the mention of towers in the song. At the time I had so much music that had not been released yet that I had forgotten about the song completely. I was like, "I don't remember. It was the 80s for God's sake!" It was all I could do to stay alive!

this song is amazing...I hope and pray dude is keeping the faith...I ran from God for 11 years, so I know this that if he is backslid his life will show it...

Josh, come back to Jesus Christ man. Heaven is forever, but this life and it's pleasures are passing away, but the word of the Lord stands forever. Miss your Christian music.

Jesus says very clearly to be set apart from the world, that we are to be light to the world.
Then how can we mix light with darkness?
Being a born-again Christian means to be fully surrendered to Christ. This means that we take steps to turn from our sins, not continue living in sin(Though we will sin, but so long as we continue to try live righteously and confess our sins and make the effort it is accounted to us as righteousness) Josh is definitely back-sliden. The name itself says it all 'Full Devil Jacket' not to mention all the swearing.

Actually, I have some insight here. I used to be friends with one of the band members and what happened was that the church didn't want Josh to do a charity benefit for his old band's guitarist that had cancer and was trying to raise money for treatment. This was years later after the band had really cleaned up. Still the church and the label had strong feelings against it, felt Josh was turning against the church.

Josh did was Jesus would have wanted him to do and he left and did the shows. His friend died shortly after and the band felt it was time to get back to their craft. And I don't blame Josh for not coming back. That's the kind of hypocrisy you find in fundamental faith. Even Jesus warned us.

I think this type of Christian music is awesome. With a little Rock and Roll you can touch a lot of hearts.

I'd like to think so. But I'm still conflicted; remember the term Rock & Roll itself originally referred to unwed sex in a car. Amazing band.

This song is beautiful. I'm agnostic with Christian leanings, but I love this and loved it back when day of fire first made it. It was actually one of my first CDs.
