Ac Davis and Eddie rabbit are 2 of the must unique country singers.they did not sound like the Merle harrards or the Johnny cashes or Willie Nelson's of their time they had their own unique styles.

I still remember The Mac Davis Show I used to watch as a kid in the 70's. One of the most talented singer/songwriters of all time.

Yes! I used to enjoy watching Mac Davis' show, too. He is a multi-talented singer and athlete. Wasn't he an NFL star? I used to love his curly hair and the playful banter with his guests. Thanks for the good music.

I don't know if it is Mac playing the piano but it is a great piece of work. I like Gallery's version, but I can listen to this one as well. Thank you for the download.

When I was singing in Dallas Harms' Band, 'Shiloh,' (Dallas wrote "Paper Rosie" for Gene Watson - also "The Old Man & His Horn") - we used to do "I Believe In Music" as the last song of every night.   It always had people up on the dance floor, swaying and clapping their hands over their heads, and singing along.   So uplifting !!!   C'mon, Mac - one last tour . . .  pretty please ?!?

Wish he was still touring.   There are a couple guys from the '60s and '70s who are still putting it out there - and he is one of those who would be SUCH a hoot to see again.   I've been to see Three Dog Night a couple times, now - and Paul McArtney and Ringo Starr, and The Dukes of September (Boz Scaggs, Donald Fagen and Michael McDonald), Elton John, Bonnie Raitt, Erik Clapton . . .  the list goes on and on.   Mac Davis was one of the best singer/songwriters of our generation.   I'd LOVE to see him again.

Mac Was Amazing

This guy wrote and sang some of the greatest songs of the 70's and arguably of all time. One of my all time favorite artists. His music always takes me back to such great times growing up.
