"Love" is track #2 from my "Only You" album. I wrote it partly as a message to myself...a reminder you could say. Maybe a letter? We hear the same cliches about love and how it's so powerful, but we often forget about how much it actually influences the decisions we make in our lives. When I wrote this song I was thinking more of the broader sense of the word - not so much romantic. But I suppose it could work in the romantic sense as well. When I sing "love", or listen to it (it has been a while), I think it keeps me on track on how I should be...or maybe what I wish for people to believe? I wanted to also give a sense of hope for those listening (including myself)...maybe by listening, it could affect our subconscious minds? If anything, I think we all need to be reminded of this very basic, yet complicated thing called love once in awhile. But what do I know about love ha.
