Its so sad the music industry has not shown there appreciation for David Cassidy. This man was so talented I did not even know how talented he was only watching ytube I have seen how much. I think he had a lot of sadness inside him you punish yourself and its hard to let it go,he needed help with his demons,bless you David the fans will not let you down not even now.........

I never knew how talented David was.. I feel awful I never followed him.much after partrige family. He was and is a beautiful soul...A rare " Tender heart.." that is what we all love most.
I cannot stop watching videos and wishing he was still here. :-(

I understand how you feel. After the partridge family, I lost track of him. I lived in Canada most of my life, so I never knew he recorded records or went on tours. I never got to meet him or see him in concert.
After he passed away I played catch up and now wished. I had kept up with him . I missed so many opportunities to hear David perform. What a wonderful talent and an awesome, kind hearted person he was. David had a purpose and I believe it was to make people happy.

It's a huge sadness

I have had a really hard time since he passed. I didn't expect to feel the overwhelming sadness that I have.

Teenysmom, same here. I watch his videos, read the comments and cry almost every day. The strange thing is that I never watched him when I was young. I only found PF reruns a couple of months ago and started watching them. I decided to google him one day and found out that he had passed away. I have been devastated since. All of the comments have made me realize what a beautiful person he was, inside and out. And learning of all that he went through just makes me even sadder. He was an amazingly talented man!

Sending prayers and thoughts to comfort David as he battles daily with his illness.
So so very tragic. First his father and then his mother and now he is suffering.
We are loosing our childhood icons rapidly. It will be a sad dark day when David passes but his legacy and all these wonderful videos have captured the David that we all came to love. I will always remember him as in this music videos.and wish it to be back in the early 70's when my own family was still alive as well.

I turned 50 this month, and I can't help but think that I have loved him, almost, my entire life.In his eyes, we could see the beauty, the joy of doing what he loved, performing, and the pain of what family struggles, the price of fame and the pain. These are observances that will stay with me until I am in my grave or Alzheimer's Disease claims my mind! I hope David preserves himself from the cruelty of media and of those who do not understand his life, his work, and musical genius.
I love and appreciate him since the first time I saw him on TV in the 70s and in concert at CNE-Toronto in ´72. After moving out of North America I lost all the news on him but I´ve caught up thanks to the internet. Today I understand how the industry exploited him back then and how humble and honest he is with us, his fans and especially himself. I was thrilled to know of his successes!! , his relationship with his children :) and I hope they now come closer together to heal and be there for him.
