David Bowie - Moonage Daydream (Arnold Corns Version) Lyrics

Come on strong, girl
Oh, lay your heavy trip on me
The church of man, love
Is such a holy place to be
Make me, baby
Make me know you really care
Make me jump into the air

Keep your 'lectric eye on me babe
Put your ray gun to my head
Press your space face close to mine, love
Freak out in a moonage daydream, oh yeah

Oh, right on
Come on, you mothers
Far out

Keep your mouth shut
And listen to the word inside
Keep your head on
And open up your eyes real wide
Keep the change, love
Let me fix it for you inside
There isn't any room to hide

Keep your 'lectric eye on me babe
Put your ray gun to my head
Press your space face close to mine, love
Freak out in a moonage daydream, oh yeah
[x2]

Take it all, take it all...
Pretty...

Mick taught Bowie how to rock

  3. K.... H....

3:16 - 3:21 Sounds like he's coming. He was a sexy son of a bitch.

  4. T.... K....

Sometimes I can't just get enough of Bowie

  5. B.... A....

1:34 up brings me so much joy. I love this version so much

  14. M.... L....

This song shows just how much we owe to Mick Ronson. As the man said, "Ziggy played guitar".

    M.... L....

Malcolm Lewis Mick Ronson; the man who invented David Bowie. ( So they say. ) 😏

    M.... L....

Malcolm Lewis without Mick Ronson Bowie is just another drop in the “acoustic” bucket... Mick arranged almost all of the instrumentation in the early works and after the break Bowie was never the same. Musically at least.

  15. d.... 6....

Love to listening to this one.

  16. P.... P....

    come on strong girl!!!

  17. m.... ....

I can just barely make poor Freddie out in the chorus. Bowie did his damnedest to be a Svengali, and at this point, he hadn't even made it yet! That's faith and confidence in one's talent, that is.

  18. N.... ....

Such a campy version - very Barbarella! Thanks for posting all this old stuff. I just don't know how we're going to cope without the old Bo....

  19. G.... B....

Goodnight, sweet prince. And may your stars be visible every night in the cloudiest of nights. Legend, RIP

  20. N.... S....

    too soon.

  21. O.... ....

  24. F.... d....

    I love this version :3

  25. A.... ....

Far out, i love this version i think more than the album version <3

  26. m.... ....

I dont know why so many people prefer the rise and fall version.
    I prefer this version personnaly.
Is there something obvious im missing?

    m.... ....

@mrslig101 All versions are so good of this classic periode Ziggy ..

    m.... ....

+James Kubik best explaination I've ever heard :D

    m.... ....

mrslig101 The guitar solo of rise and fall version is so much epic and empirical

    m.... ....

mrslig101...............I don't know how anyone could like this version better than the album version the album version is way more dynamic overall.

    m.... ....

+James Kubik I don’t know if you realize this or not, but Ronson did an incredible amount of work on all of David’s early “successful” albums. Previously David was writing and recording “theatre” music.

  27. R.... F....

The song was there.. the production wasn't.

    R.... F....

RANDALL FELTON wow! Totally disagree. This version has more soul

    R.... F....

@James Andrew dude you don't like the style of the original song and that's ok but in my opinion this just doesn't work it sounds dishonest and less powerfull
I think you just prefer the 'harmonic' sound (don't know if the correct word not my first language) even if compromises the quality of the song

However I could be wrong this it's just my opinion

    R.... F....

Naah, this version is perfect for its conveyance. Keep your electric eye on me, babe.

  28. R.... C....

Christ this SUX!!!   Thank God Mr. Bowie saved this song by re-recording it for The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders from Mars.

    R.... C....

The only thing i dislike is the solo on the studio version is much better

    R.... C....

Lol totally agree but it’s ok. The album version is one of the best rock songs I have Ever heard!

  29. n.... ....

is this bowie singing or someone else?

    n.... ....

    Bowie surely u can tell?

    n.... ....

    @negrophiliac Don't you here the bowieness ? :D

    n.... ....

    I feel it

  30. S.... ....

    So great !

  31. M.... ....
