Anyone ever notice that the intro/verse is the same melody as the ending of the intro song he plays to Some Devil at Radio City.. Don't get me wrong I am a hugee Dave Matthews Band fan, just pointing out the similarities. Noticed it after learning both pieces myself, its simply transposed to another key.

Yes, that's bugging me too! The bit where he sings "Don't always work out" is familiar to something way back I think , perhaps 80's or something. Every time I hear it I can't quite get the song from my memory that it reminds me of!

i heard that gru grux wanted to open a sausage factory in new jersey but they they he'd spend too much time at the sausage maker instead of making music, is that true?

i know that DMB got helped jason mraz out a lot before he got famous, but this song sounds a lot like jason. it's got the same flow/mannerisms as J.M. especially in the lyrics. still, i really like this new album. it's classic DMB to me.

I loved Stand Up too! I have to agree that Why I Am is kind of a weak studio track, since the thing that makes it amazing is its power and energy, which will never come across as well in a studio as it does live. But seriously, high five for digging the last three! :)

i love dmb. they are phenominal. but im PERSONALLY dissapointed in this album... maybe my expectations were too high. or maybe i need time for it to grow on me. anyone else with me?

Every song is amazing. Dave can do NO wrong. (I'm one of the few that happened to enjoy Stand Up along with EVERYTHING DMB has done). Only thing about this album is, I like Seven, Why I Am, and Spaceman better live than in studio.

The other songs like Funny the Way it is and Why I am seem very mainstream. The last half of the album is really good and the songs I mentioned above feel more like DMB.
