I believe they've improoved musically, they have rhythms that you can't keep yourself from air drumming/guitaring/bassing and lyric wise they've matured a lot all of their songs have a really meaningful message, everyone can listen to this band when they're depressed and identify themselves with at least one of their songs

I was there, too. Got their "The Human Romance" album autographed, too. Amazing show by Darkest Hour and ofc, Machine Head. But Suicide Silence is a trash band in my opinion.
