Daniel johnston n’aurait pas pu être reconnu en France

Hard to imagine that a song titled "Life in Vain" can inspire but this one does. The songwriter literally says he is at the end of his rope but Daniel Johnston didn't take his life. He thought "it's so tough to be alive when I feel like the living dead" but he didn't check out. He didn't want "to be free of hope" and he found a way to hang on. He endured and I so admire him for that.

@Cg Cg I met too, for a few seconds after played a gig in Brighton. I said I liked his guitar and enjoyed his show. He was awkward (obvs) but polite. Sad loss. Great songs.
