Why did I despise this man's music the first time I stumbled across it? It's awesome, his lyrics are fantastic, excellent melodies, and those are vocals can sometimes be a bit harsh, it is nonetheless pure in spirit.

This song is joyful but there is definitely an undercurrent of desperation and sadness in his voice - pretty much just like life - such a wonderful song, songwriter, and performance.

I wish I could meet him at least once in my life.Every lyric he writes I can relate to in a weird way that I can't even describe! Its absolute magic, and he truly is the most amazing human being I know of. Next time you see him please just give him a big hug for me! I "became my own saviour". I managed to stay out of hospital when I was a minor, and I myself found the diagnosis none of the shrinks found, and it was easy. I was an aspie,that was all, an aspie drug user who got scizophrenia-like symptoms on speed! Case solved in 5 minutes after I read about aspie symptoms and related problems in a book I found. All the shrinks were wrong, I was right and my physician agreed immediately and had me diagnosed at a smart shrink's instead. Now I can even act sane!

I have been comitted to psych wards with the diagnosis "paranoid scizophrenia" at least 8 or 9 times..but I'm not a real case, it has all been drug induced instances. It's a horrible state to be in, my sympathy to all real sufferers of the disease!:)

the first emo bands were Rites of Spring & Embrace (look up emo wikipedia article or the history page on fourfa dot com. The Cure was never under that genre umbrella.
