I'm 52 and seen a lot of bands come and go The band rocks I play guitar and enjoy their music and I'm sure with the negative comments you have a vast experience with the band from the 50's to now. Just so nobody gets mad just detune your guitars and bang on those 2 finger power chords. Just for education purpose's Andy Warhol help launch such bands David Bowie,Velvet Underground, New York Dolls and a solo spot for Mr. Lou Reed . George Harrison is quoted saying it'd not how many chords or how fast it's how you play each note John Lennon Stated It's all rehash so unless you have a band that not only sounds better made more money and lasted this long I would not be so quick to judge. I'm glad they did not sell out.

They just came up the name cuz the guitarist used to use the word "dandy" a lot. They wanted something 60's/psychedelic sounding, so decided on Dandy Warhols. It's not like they worship Andy Warhol, so wtf?

@hallidio Yeah afterwards I thought it could somewhat be taken sarcastic, but you are right I am agreeing with you. I always just assumed Andy Warhol was a great artist but then I looked into his stuff and it just... sucked. Like he was trying way too hard to be "unique," weird and avant-garde instead of making it good art and it just turned out bad... I enjoy art that's different but making it aesthetically, aurally, or visually pleasing is just as important.
