Dan Hartman - I Still Remember Lyrics
(I still remember)
Like a dream that lingers on
(I still remember)
I think it never will be gone
(I still remember)
Mr. Levan can play those songs so right, oh
(Should have been there)
He can make that audience jump right up in the air
(I still remember)
Although I move to different sites
(I still remember)
Ooh, I remember getting high on flashing lights
And that night all the kamikazes at The Garage
(I still remember)
Oh, the whole place caught fire
I wanna say I still remember yesterday
I still remember yesterday, oh-oh
(I still remember yesterday)
That's all I need to say now
(I still remember yesterday)
(Two, three, four)
(I still remember yesterday)
(I still remember yesterday)
Oh, oh-oh-oh
(I still remember yesterday)
Ooh, that's all I need to say now
(I still remember yesterday)
I remember yesterday, yeah
(I still remember)
Woo
(I still remember)
(I still remember)
(I still remember)

Dan Hartman I Still Remember Comments
OOOps! I mean to say a killer break!
This song has a killer beak!
I use to play this song a lot and would mix it in with White Wedding. I still have a cassette tape with it. I use to DJ in San Antonio at Sunset Blvd. Another TX staple at the time. Interesting how so many Texans remember this song.
The band Chance use to play this around the Houston dance halls and we did the freeze to it.
This song is in the key of F.....!
Papagayo's...that was a lifetime ago! I remember hearing this a lot when I lived in Dallas, but no one in Michigan ever heard of it. Was it just a Texas thing?
I love this song !!! Im glad its still around !!! We always danced to it at the dances in Bryan,Texas !!!
Papagayo's in Dallas!! This song was the "cattle call" song of the early 80's! Everyone would go crazy!!
Yep! I used to love going to "the Hall" and dancing to this, the ONLY line dance I will ever dance to...just because it is so much fun and brings back so many great memories. All the DJ had to do was play and on the first note, 200 people would swarm the dancefloor. Good times!
I was there too!!!
I was at the Cowboy a couple of months ago and one of the old DJ's from the '90s was there and he gave me a copy of the line dances they play there and this song was on it. I was so happy to have it and YES they still play it there. The first time I danced to it was at Crossroads aka Boozers next to Chicken Oil Co on S. College (Anyone else remember The Eagle commercial that was shot at Crossroads where they were line dancing and reading The Eagle to this song)
I hear you ginyocham and TheNetsirk. I was there too, though mainly at "The Cowboy" during the 1980's. I've come here several times looking for this song and I sometimes wondered if it was only played in B/CS. We danced "The Freeze" to this song, one of the first line dances I bet.
iVE LOOKED FOR THIS SONG/ALBUM FOR 20 YEARS! THANKS SO MUCH FOR CARING ENOUGH TO KEEP THE OLDIES. WE DANCED TO THIS AT THE "TEXAS HALL OF FAME" IN COLLEGE STATION TEXAS AND I NEVER COULD FIND IT
The freeze
Me too!!! Great times!!!
