This song came out the one year I lived in Billings, MT. Just loved that city!  I had to leave because I wanted to pursue my religious vocation. I will always miss Billings and Dan Fogelberg.

I would certainly like to meet Dan's wife to see the person and to tell her in words that I can express how much that Dan loved her because he expressed it in his music

While this wasn't really one of Dan Fogelberg's best known tunes but it is definitely one of his best songs, always thought Dan Fogelberg was an underrated talent who left the world too soon.

My 3 older sister's always played Dan as they got ready, Friday night ready to hit the town the 70s were epic. This mans music makes my heart yearn for the childhood/teenage yrs i was so blessed to have and his music takes me back as i close my eyes and imagine my sisters dancing to his beautiful music.. still on my playlist today..❤

This guy was diagnosed with prostate cancer and 3 months later he checked out. His only warning on E NEWS was to let people know to get checked for this disease so they would not have to go through what he went through. What a beautiful soul and present to the earth. What an extraordinary talent.

I am currently going through the same thing. Kinda scary but my courageous six year old granddaughter keeps me from feeling sorry for myself. She is my rock and my life.

I remember my late wife, who was taken by a DUI driver...would play this song over the phone when I was on the road. I love this song, but the pain is still deep and will never go away. I know until death do us part...but I fear I will never find another that I can love unconditionally...the loneliness is horrible. We both died that night.

One of the first songs I heard when I moved to America at age four in 1982. I remember damn near every song that was on the radio from that year on. Music has been a lifelong interest and hobby of mine and I feel blessed to have had an '80s childhood. I have many memories that are associated with music and this track is no exception.

seems like whatever Dan Fogelberg released ..it ll surely bring back a memory of a good time past or something sentimental ,,For me , this brings back new years eve back in 1982 ,,,when radio was radio ...without all the garbage is on nowadays ...listening to WHTT 103.3 out of boston ,,ol alex stone ..seemed to throw this in right before the midnight hour ...and even the music seemed apropriate for the upcoming year ///sort of an auld lang syne ..which dan also released ..seems the only way you can relive those kind of radio days no ..is a cassette tape ,.,which i have from 1982 ,,with WHTT and alex ,,,if you werent as lucky to have the recordings of back then ...now we have to pay for it thru sirius radio ...

Remember this song came out around Christmas of 1982. It was close to Winter Break...good memories

I got this song on a 45 record when it came out and I still have it today and it's still in pretty good condition. I love all his songs. It's kind of hard to pick a favorite.
