I'm not gonna lie this was my breakup song

You released this very shortly after my father passed away, I couldn't relate to anything back then or put anything into perspective I was so irrational and upset but I remember clicking on this and the storm in my head calming down for the first time since it happened. Everything about this put everything I was missing into it's place and I felt like my sadness was just another grain of sand in a desert of emotions and no longer did it my feeling of being lost overwhelm me, something clicked, something I've only experienced that one time and without it I would possibly be either dead right now or at the very least rogue.

I remember the first time I watched this I could barely process the lyrics something about the instrumental spoke to me, I felt like you were speaking to me personally and this was designed as a metaphor to help me deal with my misfortune (Which I know is foolish and egotistical) the message, the timing, the theme all gave me an overwhelming sense that I was worth more than I could even imagine.

Even to this day I'm struggling to convince myself it's just a coincidence, this very one song spoke to everything I was feeling back then so overwhelmingly much that even puzzle pieces don't fit as perfectly as this did to me at the time. and believe me I was searching with everything In could for something to help me put what's going on into perspective.

Whether I'm irrelevant or not, thank you Dan, if my dad was watching me at that moment he would have been proud that I was patient enough to acknowledge my relativity even at my worst.
