The Damned the best band in the 21st century and even better through a 200 watt amp with 8 band graphic equaliser and massive speakers in the 20th century. Folk in the 22nd century will love the Damned because they sound great through their 7D holographic speakers. Absolutely brilliant music from the 20th century.

The progression should have been that bands like *The Damned, Clash, Pistols* should have become the new Stones, Zep etc but in the UK two things happened !.) Disco music came along & ".) Girls *REALLY* like disco music! The rest is unfortunate history & baron musical landscape for the last 30 years!
Played at .75 is better as the slower pace makes the song more meaningful for my taste

Done a version live in '86 with Bryn and Roman. Slowed down, Shepley's keys put it into Limit Club, 13th Floor Vendetta and Curtain Call territory. It was like a slowed down Psycho/ Eleanor Rigby. It should have been done in the studio. It was that good
