This sucks compared to the Ed Hollis version that was on the B side of Smash It Up or was it Love Song? Fuck, it was almost 40 years ago now. Anyway, the Ed Hollis produced version is superior. The Captain's heavy metal rifferama is amazing on it!

The production is way too slick. There's a different version on 7" with "Suicide" on the flipside which is far better and rawer. At the time it came out in four different picture sleeves.
The production's rough as hell on Machine. Friday 13th best.

@ecopunk66 What are you talking about? The Damned has recorded seven LPs since MGE, not to mention countless side projects and solo albums. The Damneds last studio album came out in 2008 and it was great. Hardly a band living on past glories.
