Damien Jurado - A.M. AM Lyrics
Stuck here in a life that repeats
Living in the now and between
Pages from a magazine
Instruction manuals for your dreams
This is where our dreams all collide
Streaming through your heart that was mine
Living in my world that was yours through your eyes
It was you all along
It was you all along
Waiting for a life that was loud
Not my own but yours all alone
Wide awake until you're home
I was yours all along
I was yours all along
I was yours all along
I was yours all along
Don't go changing
I'm not leaving you
Don't go changing
I'm not leaving you

So much so I searched Jim James Wild wild country.. Such a lovely tune!
@Jason Mahon I havent heard it. I just meant that as far as this song goes, if you like it, "My Morning Jacket" is pretty much all this. Album after album

Look, if u don't wanna follow the man.. just simply don't.. hell, noone wants u to... all iam saying is let the ones who gained something good from him, follow him (everyone's not mad after all ) ... ur opinions are based only upon wild wild country.. nothing else. he was not only just that.
P.S.- I am not his follower at all.. But atleast he tried to make the world a good place. He was definitely right about meditation though other things are considered taboo..
Btw, Great song.
can anyone say where the hare krishnas were during all of this? eastern mysticism was big on the scene back then.
They were having gun fights at their ashram south of Mumbai to control the drug trade.
Every time this song plays an elderly person in antelope grips a shotgun
Damn you made me spit out my soda with laughter lol
Great music to recruit you into a hippie death cult!
This has a 1973 Bakersfield, CA outlaw country singer vibe.
Its difficult to put into words how beautiful this is
Exactly.....can’t put this beauty in words
Netflix...
no one cares what brought you here.
This was the best part of the Wild Wild Country documentary.
This song makes me wanna be a Sannyasin for Baghwan
This song makes you want to join a cult? Ok then.
Rajneesh cocksuckers
Hey all you young people that are feeling Osho through this music. Yes it was just like this music being there with Osho! I love it that you can feel Osho through this beautiful music, makes it all worth it, thanks for feeling him.

Listening in 2021 but sounds the same as 2019.

there's a místic Neil Young touch there, so wild...wild Country...Magnificent! !!🌻
My inner hippie loves this song
Chilld out 60's vibe!! Peace Dude!!!! Freedom.........daisy chains, summer of love
Sounds like The Dream Academy meets Neil Young.
Song makes you wanna attend a world festival lol
I listened to this in Lourdes with another 50 teenagers from around my area who were chosen to go. I remember one morning walking through the buzzing streets together, with the elderly we were helping and I was listening to this. All the cultures, all the people, all the stories, united and smiling together. Absolutely beautiful moment. The song fit it so well.
This is a beautiful song
Wild wild country 🙌🏻
This song almost made me want to join the Rashneeshees in Oregon. I thought it was some long lost Neil Young song that I'd never heard before.
Milky Way Galaxy lmao I was thinkin the same thing, Good music I’m in!
Almost...?
My thoughts precisely on both counts. Although on the first: I simply found it was a great expression of the mood that probably prevailed in the commune, i.e. among certain members. But then, of course, you find out about the dark side ...
Netflix doc flims about Rashneeshees brought me here
It was you, all along...
It was you, all along.
Sad ethereal romanticism that perfectly fit the moments in the film.
Brian Strasbaugh very true
Very true

I keep telling her "it was you all along"
Like many others, the "Wild Wild Country" documentary sent me here. Nice song. For some reason, the song kind of reminds me of Lindsey Buckingham's "Trouble."
I'm thinking it sounds more like Band of Horses or My Morning Jacket. There's definitely a strong Neil Young vibe to this too.
For me it's like The Dream Academy meets Neil Young.
For some reason it reminds me to Harvest Moon
Neil Young was one of his biggest influences, I read.
It does sound very Neil Young. Absolutely beautiful.
