Not long ago, i was just a lazy boy in my hometown where i am the only student in my classroom who can speak english fluently and out of the blie my teacher asked for my dad’s number and thank god i remembered it and when i returned home, my dad was in the house and he said “Congratulations, Boy. Your going to Iceland on October.” I was confused and i didn’t wanna go anywhere and i would get easily sick and hated traveling. And after i got back to school to find out why i was going to Iceland on October, my teacher said the club chose me to go to Iceland because i could speak english and danish waay too good. And i was pretty amazed, and when it finally was October my parents drove me to the docks and waited for the boat to arrive and when it was arriving i found one of the 10th grader was coming with me and i did not like her at all and thought she was ugly (sorry for being disrespectful) and after waiting for the boat we got in, and sailed to the airport. First we decided to eat and when we oredered our food we sat down, i did not want to sit close to her and i enjoyed the burger. And after 1 day we went to Iceland. She did not know how to speak english and she probably did not know what to do without my ‘english genious’ and after about a week i started to like her and even worse her mother was the principle of my school but many people know i have a crush on her but i came to realise she’s just a waste of time. ⏰

The beginning sounds like something out of Starship Troopers.

I prefer Beyond although I think I keep Forgettin' is a very good song, too. I'm not upset, don't worry. And I'm aware that Beyond came out later. It's not unlikely that Daft Punk were 'inspired' by I keep Forgettin' since they always did a lot of work with samples. The reason I don't consider this a rip off is because the feel of Beyond is quite different.

"your home's a promise long forgotten... it is the birthplace of your dreams" idk why but that line evokes in me a sense of wonder and intense longing like I have not TRULY found my home yet or like I did but a long time ago but forgot where... the weird thing is I get a somewhat misty mental image of a place that seems familiar and welcoming but not where I live and always looks totally unlike any home I have lived in but I never know how to describe it because no matter how many times I analyze that it disappears before I can determine what it looks like and commit it to memory... but it gets even more interesting when I listen to "touch" because the lyrics "if love is the answer you're home" gives me similar mental images except they last long enough to tell that there is a family, a wife(or husband) and 2 kids(or pets) welcoming me home from a long journey from somewhere, and it is always in front of that phantom mental house that seems so familiar yet so foreign... you know you have got an interesting mind if you see a mental image clearly of a place but cannot describe it because nothing said will be accurate
