I don't know why everyone is bashing this song. Miley was the age of an average freshman in high school when she sang this. If anything, this is basically a less punk-pop version of Skye Sweetnam's version from Disneymania 3. That being said, her voice was clearly autotuned and echoed to sound how it does in the song. If you want the original, then just listen to it. Don't bitch about a song sang about a decade ago.

It is really a great version. I know everybody is not familiar with this version, since everybody is familiar with the original. But music has so much interpretations, in rock style, in smooth style, in crazy style, if this song was attending for a rock, or crazy style music, people might have another view, feeling it really a fantastic version.

I don't blame Miley for this crap. I blame the producers and whatever fuck thought it was okay to rearrange the music into this abomination towards humanity. If Miley were ever to re-do this version (doubt it since she wants to stay far away from her past Disney image), I'm sure it would be much lovelier and handled with a lot more sensitivity.
