More info...Danelectro was sold to MCA in 1967. They actually manufactured all Silvertone guitars for Sears, among others. They also introduced the first true 6-string bass guitar several years before Gibson or Fender.
Just did a little research, and it looks like Danelectro/Coral only made electric sitars for about one year, mainly in 1967. That's why they're so hard to find....And expensive.
