I understand that they're writing music to be played live at shows, but their music doesn't do well on an album. It sounds too clean for my liking. I want to hear more riffage.

This sounds more like the first Amaranthe's albums than the actual band does now, in terms of catchy melodies and vocals, and yet keeping that Metal vibe. Kudos to Jake for being part of a project that turned out to be hugely sucessful, for having the courage to drop out when he felt he was being ditched and for showing again what a true talent he is in Cyhra.

i agree with you it felt like the 1st 2 albums jake had alot of imput.dont forget jake was going to be the main singer until oluff and jake found elize,thus her being so hot pushed him out.i love this album better than the last.i liked the 1st but this is going to win album of the year in sweden,and i believe this album would have beat europe's when they beat them last time.i agree he is allowed with his band all creative details falls on him.i hope they come back to the states.happy future holidays.

remember when oluff and jake found elize,but jake was meant to be the main singer????the 1st 2 albums jake had alot of input,but like you said he was pushed out while eliz had more parts..they shouldnt have gotten a model to sing,lol.now jake can really show his skills off,because its his baby.i've always loved jakes voice,and when europe beat them for best album.this one is better not saying the other was bad,because it wasnt.this album would have beaten europe with this album.i hope they can get bigger ,and tour back to the states.happy future holidays.

This release is actually pretty solid. I hear a lot of pop influence which is odd considering the players but overall this is good and I would go see them live.

@Enigmalake i said one of the best in this genre of metal .Of course there are others biggers than this .For example The Swallow the Sun álbum is amazing too.

Jake-E made a good decision, Cyhra is good (however, some Amaranthe influences are strong in f.example Bye Bye Forever. Not that good).
Anyway, look at how shitty Amaranthe has become. Fucking disgusting.
