Cutting Crew - Sahara Lyrics
Don't let love let you down
It's been fine up to now
Sahara, I just walked into your world
Sahara, don't walk out on me now
It's been fine up to now
Sahara, there is life in the desert
Sahara, let the sands run away
But in my heart and in my head
I know that she'll wait for me
Sahara brings me down
She will take up all your time
Then she'll laugh and cut you down
Do you still hold a light for ... for me?
Don't let fires burn too low
Wild-eyed winds they still blow
Sahara, I just walked into your world
Sahara, don't walk out on me now
But in my heart...

So nice work!!!
Fab song - Stirring. As a rock fan (but no rock snob) it maybe flags a tad from its great high`s, but then there`s the treat, a veritable crescendo, to round off. Classic song from a great elpee.
Always....cutting crew...........always........always.....
Sahara whether the desert or a woman can cut you down.
The epitome of a torch song. Loved it then, love it now.
No hay música perfecta como esta
*Dedicated to all of you* who live in this world and to the one who lives in South America which will eventually recognize. God bless you.
*SAHARA lyrics*
Don't let love let you down
It's been fine up to now
Sahara, I just walked into your world
Sahara, don't walk out on me now
Don't let time tie you down
It's been fine up to now
Sahara, there is life in the desert
Sahara, let the sands run away
But in my heart and in my head
I know that she'll wait for me
Sahara brings me down
She will take up all your time
Then she'll laugh and cut you down
Do you still hold a light for ... for me?

I have this album, I so love this music still listen to it, I was so young then 20 years old....so many memories :)
EXCELLENT BAND. THE BEST... 🎵📽🔊🎶🎙😃😁
1986........one UNFORGETTABLE YEAR.........!!!!!!!!!!!
My special name is Brian Timothy Navato but my nephew has been messing with the computer!
I'm trying to catch the amazing music - it's really amazing, but for some reason my brain is having difficulty!!!!
One of the best... of memories
it was about 1986... cruising to Daytona Beach and cranking this cassette tape all the way there...smoking a joint...just cruising and watching the beautiful day as this song was playing....I want to go back...I was only 17 years old then ....I was a young man....tall tan and trim...full of health and energy....now I'm 47 and feeling sluggish and old....I wanna go back so bad and re-live it all...but savor it this time...
you cant go back
I can just picture a very sad love story
Like a break up, then them running back together in the middle of the rain because they can't live without eachother...
Daarun...kono kotha hobe naaa..
im 28 but always felt a great connection with 80s music, and cutting crew love there music, there unique original style and they make great songs... much respect... playing this for that special someone on Valentines day tomorrow
Great 80's
i love this song good group
To clarify your point, Man is Omnivore: both carnivore and vegetarian.
nothing like this Gold school stuff....i didnt say old..its gold..coz everytime i listen to these i feel like listening these songs for the first time..so alive man.everysecond of this song is filled with innocence...even im not from 1980s..i was born in 1990..i consider myself lucky to get these tastes from my dad n my uncles..who used to rock in the 80's.still there is lot to learn from them..for this bitter age generation!hats off to those who experienced 70s-80's!!
There's only 1 problem with your logic & I'm not here to argue. Eating vegetables is good -- but man is carnivorous. If he goes too long without eating some meat he will become ill, weak & develop real health issues. Other animals in this world eat meat too. You can argue your point, but nature is nature. A balanced menu of meat & veggies would be ideal. But to cut it out 100% -- you're looking for health issues. Research it. I have friends who suffered because of it. Back to the music.
Great song!
a great track off a great album..not entirely sure this was ever released as single..my girlfriend at the time bought this album and we just played it over an over..awesome
super music
remember listening to this underrated song of cutting crew, on a small two in one, with the album sleeve notes of the cassette in one hand, staring at the ceiling...that was the 80s.
im 40 and yes it was
mustve been a dream to be young living through these days ... and songs like this remind of 80s epic saga ... glory days forever 80's...
rexikanoe I was 19 when this came out. Nothing has matched that time.
This whole album was totally kick-awesome, and I wish I could get the CD.
DrRotwang ebay mate
Should still be available in record stores too...
I like it so much , I have two C.D.'s. In case I wear one out , like I did the cassettes.
Great song on a great album. Thanks for posting.
Broadcast was and is a massively underrated 80s classic, worth remembering for more than just THAT one song...good though that song was...

Thanks Nick and the rest of this great band for the Fab album. Wonderful memories for me
having my family around me whilst listening to this back in '86/'87 !
