ahhhhh really? He passed...my minds been incapsulated in my own misery from being kidnapped in 2012......I remember the first mayfeild song I herd was "Jesus" and now that I've returned to the church i'm listening to that song I started checkin' out this alblum not realizing his lengendary efforts for his last words to us.....I'm a Frisco kiddo from 1971 n grew up with KFRC and KPOO with many memories of all of the soul and gospel out there yet being too young still to know thier names.... the music now that i'm 47 is still with me greater than ever...for I've now lived tradgedy and happiness thru livin' the dream. This is an amazing albulm to me.....speaks to my generation soley and purely with all do respect to our elders who marched for us to be loud. And here I sit in tears, still loud as ever.... with a son performing music now I'll not stay quiet again.

I've been a Cutis Mayfield fan for over 50yrs and this is the first time I' m hearing this. I'm trying to figure out how I missed this. He left a legacy that there are no words to describe.

I blew it off immediately, thought it was just a bunch of remasters...then I heard "Here but I'm gone". One of my favorite CM songs...and he did this after his accident. Cray

Very underrated album I had the cd for a couple months before I opened it in '98. Then, I'm glad I did. Curtis the legend had to endure a lot of physical pain to do this album.

This Song makes me feel sad but it also lets me know that I will overcome what I went through and each month The Pain gets less So Curtis Was on point
