Wish theyd clean sing on there more harder tracks as well as put out more stuff like this. Im going for a periphery/tesseract type sound is what im getting at there needs to be more djent bands out there like those to particularly periphery tho.

Why hasn't this song serisouly blown up? It's truly amazing. Easily became one of my favourite songs of all time. I love it to death. Something about this song just lets me pour out all my emotions and puts me in a great mood. Very well done, and so highly underrated and unknown that it's sad.

This song makes everything okay as I meltaway into bliss. It's that good.

this is an absolute eargasm... but really. The producing is crisp and beautiful, the lead riffs are both spacey and crystalline and the rhythm is bone crunching. The vocals are a mirror of the guitars, guttural and melodic, the drums are perfectly recorded and the beats aren't too much or too little ... everything that makes rock rock. You guys have a real masterpiece here. Thank you :

This is just a masterpiece, one of the most beautiful metalcore songs I've ever heard. at some point it has nothing to do with personal preference and some things are just good music. if you don't like this I find it hard to believe you understand music in a way that lets you appreciate just how good this track really is. Even if it isnt your cup of tea theres no denying how strong and concise this track is. great job currents

This is one of those songs that you can show anybody despite their taste in music and they will at least appreciate it...unless they are one of those people who only listens to music "for the beat"

Lol in terms of just music, this isn't bad, but it also isn't good either and is also really immature sounding honestly. I could have gotten into this when I was like 15, 18, 21 maybe but I can't vibe to this currently. Also this sound and style has been done to death of late too (e.g. Erra, Silent Planet, Northlane, etc. all these bands sound the same or really similar). I have been listening to Through the Eyes of the Dead's Malice and Despised Icon's The Ills of Modern Man a lot lately tho, u should check those albums out. That's what talented metal sounds like, you'll be able to see what I'm talking about after just 1 song. The instrumentation and musicianship is not comparable.

@jon numminen That's the thing about Currents, they're so diverse/experimental & I love that. How they can shift from something so heartfelt like this song to something so dark like Into Despair. It's not just sound either, it's the whole atmosphere of their songs. The lyrics & the craft. Maybe it's the Metalcore Genre? But either way it's such a place of heart & passion. Can't wait to see what this band has in store next. New single this week 😉
