I feel that they do not convey the passion and emotion that The Cure deserves. The guitar sounds off in both albums but “The End of the World” Live performance here puts the studio version to shame. There is still so much talent and emotion left. I really believe in The Cure. I believe that this new 2019 album has the potential to be amazing!!!!

Saw the Hyde Park movie on Thursday... 30 year cure fan here... Reeves may not be my favorite 'Cure' guitarist (or my favorite era/line up) but I think he saved the band. I think most people that heard the Bestival album would say that it was time to hang it up. Reeves joined shortly after and with his experience as Bowie's music director, has really stepped up their consistency these last couple of years and has them sounding great!
