One of my favourite songs from Luxury to Heartache, such a beautiful voice

Boy George the Bride - gave me a smile. I like when he acts like he's gone mad. When Culture Club was becoming famous in America, he was sometimes referred to not as Boy George, but as Boy Girl - and it was not a compliment! Some looked at him like the official sexually deviant submissive doormat of pop music. I was glad he did not follow in the footsteps of his partying predecessors as if history was foretold to repeat itself. I really like this song particularly - seems a happy song.

This was released in spring of 1986 and reminds me of Whitney Houston's Where Do Broken Hearts Go which was on her 1987 CD, Whitney Houston, and released as a single in the spring of 1988 ( It was played at my senior prom lol). This song has a more country vibe to it than Whitney's but if you listen closely you can hear her later more "poppy" ballad in there. This is a good track. Love Culture Club

George wrote some great ballads that the public didn't hear as when a huge group in the 80;s they were handled. They had little say on releases. Jesus, this song leads me to a special time and some friends I had. Two of them no longer inhabit this world anymore.
I didn't understand the lyric but it used to knock me down and still does.
It was winter, I used to listen to it at the end of the days everyday.
Somehow I felt something was about to change and this song had the right tune to make me feel such a strange thing inside. Now I know, the end of everything was approaching, yes, I only have remembrance. Everything has gone. Has gone.
