Crystals, The - Oh Yeah, Maybe Baby Lyrics
Got the heebie jeebies
Got the shakes
And I got a funny feelin'
That you got just what it takes
And oh yeah
Maybe baby
I'm fallin' in love
Gee you make me lovesick
That's for sure
And I got a funny feelin'
I don't wanna find a cure
And oh yes
Maybe baby
Maybe baby
I don't need a doctor
Need no pills
And I got a funny feelin'
And the fever
And the chills
And oh yes
Yes
Yes
Maybe baby
I'm fallin' in love

Crystals, The Oh Yeah, Maybe Baby Comments
This was the "A" side. DJs flipped it and "There's No Other Like My Baby" became the hit.
Patsie is the top one in the first photograph and the first on left in the second, According to the book 'Out of his head' Phil Spector , the story,, by [i think [Richard Williams] This track was intended to be the A side and Phil Spector was miffed that the more conventional B side charted instead,

alerto, would it be hard to find the sheet music for some of these gems?
i can see the tuff guys dancing their fine girls around at a sixties dance in the inner city. my favorite spector music.
Same here. Eveen though I wasn't born when it came out.
This is the only song original member Patsy Wright sang lead and ever recorded with The Crystals and to me, is the most beautiful of them all (along with There's no other like my Baby)
Cant agree any more
This is a sweet one. I wasn't even around when this one came out in 1961. I heard this one for the first time in fall 1991. I was 15 at the time. I know that I was only one that heard the Crystals. I still like them today. I can't handle today's trash.
The Crystals had a fabulous sound with the castanets and piercing vocals. One of Phil Spector's triumphs, to give the devil his due. Until today I only knew this song from the Laura Nyro's cover, which is great, but gentler and more romantic. This song could have been an A-side hit easily.
ANOTHER GREAT SONG PRODUCED BY THE GENIUS PHIL SPECTOR
女神ローラ・ニーロのカバーが切なかったが、本家本元もイイネ!、スペクター音、クリスタルズ・・・・♪~♪Oh Yeah, Maybe Baby♪
this is patsie doing the lead on this one. Read it in a book on the spector sound. Nice sound..great song
@dasmikey1964 this is Barbara
It's actually Patricia "Patsy" Wright on lead. Barbara is the lead on the flip side "There's No Other Like My Baby."
Underappreciated great song!
This is one of my favorite Crystal songs! Really nice.
I believe Pattie is the 3rd from left, lowest profile (hmm, was that on purpose?)...
Michael Kappes no that's dede
Is Pattie Wright in the photo that comes on at .15 seconds into the recording? I know Darlene Love, and La La Brooks (on here), and Barbara Alston...but I don't know what Patties looks like, wich one is Pattie? Thank you!
Paul DePace she's on the far left and next to her dede
Interesting choice for lead vocal on this track (her voice was not as strong as Barbara's or Darlene's, but still good nonetheless).
i really love this song thanks for posting
